ZOIA FX Loop

WHY DID I MAKE IT?

If an out-of-the ordinary jack on the Heavy Menace is enough to confuse people, ZOIA would put them in a coma. With all its blinking lights and seemingly endless modules, it hardly looks like a guitar player's go-to tool.

THE GOAL

I wanted to show guitar players that they don't have to lose anything by adding a ZOIA to their board. I wanted to pique their creativity by showing them a relatively simple process, leaving them asking "what else can I do with this thing?"

POST-MORTEM

For what it is, I wouldn't change much about this video! The voice-over is a bit "sleepy", but other than that I think it hits all the points well (and efficiently).

That said, I did learn that editing motion graphics in Final Cut, no matter how simple, is a much harder endeavour than exporting the clips and working in After Effects.
